Greetings Critical Care Transport Specialist Course Participants,
Welcome to the Critical Care Paramedic hosted by Faithful Guardian Training Center and sponsored by Air Methods – Air Life Georgia. We hope you will find this program supportive and beneficial. If you need anything during the class please do not hesitate to ask any of our instructors.
This course is designed to train you in the lifesaving skills of a Critical Care Transport Specialist. The course covers a lot of material in a relatively short period of time, so we will move through the information fairly quickly. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
During this class you will view power points, listen to instructor lectures, and view examples of Critical Care skills and treatment. Our learning strategies are designed to teach you these skills as effectively as possible, and in the shortest amount of time.
At the successful completion of this program, FGTC will issue you a Critical Care Transport Specialist Certificate and you will qualify you to sit in on the Certified Critical Care Paramedic (CCP-C) or Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C) exams. These exams will be administered by the Board for Critical Care Transport Paramedic Certification (BCCTPC) on the last day of the course. For the RN’s, this course will prepare you to take the CFRN and the CTRN. While we will have lots of fun over the next 14 class days, we strongly encourage you to take this course very seriously and to prepare for your BCCTPC exam starting TODAY.
Course Tuition
• The tuition for attending this course is $ 1,500.00
• There is also a $ 75.00 non-refundable registration fee that saves your spot in the class.

• There are other costs not included/associated in the tuition. You will be responsible for purchasing your textbooks, online classroom portal, uniforms, clinical requirements, and other items not associated with the tuition cost.
Enrollment Requirements
- This class meets the national recommendation for 80-hour critical care education for Paramedics and is State Office of EMS/T approved. This class is a 14-day course that meets on a shift friendly schedule.
- During this course you will ride a minimum of 8 hours in a critical care setting.
- You MUST have a current Paramedic OR RN license.
- You MUST have your ACLS certification.
- You MUST have your PALS or EPC certification.
- You MUST have your PHTLS or ITLS certification.
- We recommend that you have 3-5 years of experience as a paramedic. This is NOT required.
- Great prep course for the CCP-C or FP-C.
- Our CCTS program is recognized by the State Office of EMS in Georgia for CE’s.
