Professional Fire Fighter Course
Our school is the one of the few private schools in Georgia to offer this program. We have gone through several steps to get the proper approvals needed for this course. Our program is approximately 6 months long and meets every third day. The course schedule is set up similar to many fire and EMS department schedules. This means you will attend class one day and then have two days off and then attend class again. There may be Saturdays that the student has to attend (Saturday classes will depend on training schedules). The class meeting times are from 9 am to 4 pm.
Our class capacity is 20 (this is a first come first serve basis - Student must pay the registration fee to reserve their spot). During the course, you will obtain several certifications including the National Professional Qualification (NPQ) Level I, Level II, as well as, your Hazmat Operations certification. When you finish the course our overseeing agency, Georgia Fire Fighter Standards and Training will send a representative from their agency to administer a final exam for certification.
